The Well's Multi-Site Strategy

When people ask where The Well is located, we hope all our people give the same answer… “In every neighborhood in the city.” Bricks and mortar do not make a church, it's the people which house the Spirit of God.

To emphasize this we don't want to build a huge building and say “this is us, this is our home.” We would rather allow home to be where God's people are and set up a system that can be reproduced in a high school gymnasium in another part of the city or a living room in a small rural town. Where there is no glass ceiling for leaders at The Well.

By recording our teaching pastor in HD quality video we can free our Campus Pastors to be shepherds; to have the freedom to devote their time to their people. By providing centralized support for all our campuses we can allow smaller campuses access to top notch training through The Guild, a proven system of small group community building through our Life Group program, and even great art and creative technology as well as financial and administrative help through our Central Support ministries. The kind of things you would normally only find at a larger church, but with a small church feel and flavored by the neighborhood surrounding the campus and the people who attend. The multisite strategy allows us to be quick and agile when launching new campuses, and allows us to adapt and respond to meet the needs of individuals.

Of course, we didn't invent this strategy, even the early church had a guy named Paul who traveled from town to town starting churches. Although he distributed his teachings through ink and parchment instead of video we are pretty certain he would approve of the upgrade. So when you decide to attend The Well feel free to chose any of our campuses, they are the same church, they just have a different address.

Campuses

North Campus

Located on Maple and Nees in Northeast Fresno. The North Campus is our largest venue with more service options than any other campus. There are two morning options at 9:00AM and 11:00AM and two evening options at 5:00PM and 7:00PM. Kids and Middle School programs are available at all of our service options except the 7:00PM.

Fig Garden Campus

Located on Palm and Gettysburg in the Old Fig Garden neighborhood of Fresno. This is our original campus and maintains much of that original spirit. The large courtyard is a great place to meet friends and sit down for a conversation after service. If you are looking for a more relaxed church experience you might want to try our Fig Garden campus. This campus has two morning options at 9:00AM and 11:00AM.

Southeast Campus

Located in the theater at Sunnyside High School in southeast Fresno. This is a young and fun campus that has deep ties to the diverse neighborhood that surrounds it as well as to Fresno Pacific University. It is an friendly campus with a strong missional purpose that would love to welcome you into its growing family. This campus has an 11:00AM service option.

Midweek Campus

Not so much a location as it is a time and paradigm, the Midweek Campus meets at the North Campus location, but on Wednesday nights at 6:30PM. This is the only campus to guarantee live teaching, because it's where we record our message for all the other campuses. This campus is also unique in that it incorporates a small group bible study time into the evening. It's a Life Group and a church service in one very convenient package.

Hume Lake Strategic Partnership

While not a full-fledged campus with kids and student programs, it's a great way to experience The Well for those that find themselves in the Sequoias. The staff at Hume Lake has created a service for those in the area featuring the same video teaching our other campuses get. Granted the view is much nicer.
