This group is open to men of all ages.
Steven has attended The Well for about a year. It is Steven’s hope that a diverse body of men can live out Psalm 133 by being brothers in unity, to point to Christ and be a light to the world. As a group, we desire to connect with other men willing to submit to Christ fully in order to live honest and transparent lives with each other and God. The missional purpose of our group is to develop spiritual leaders, disciples and be an encouragement to those finding themselves in trials needing spiritual recovery. His hobbies and interests include music, movies, cooking, the beach, skateboarding, traveling and hosting others at his home.
How we connect to God
Prayer is central to our group. We open and close in prayer. We believe that Ezra 7:10 is our model for our spiritual lives. We have devoted our lives to study, live out and teach God’s word. We go through short to mid-range Bible studies together. Our time is spent looking at various topical studies including, but not limited to spiritual leadership, discipleship and various bible studies.
How we connect to Each Other
Our group is fun! You may catch us watching UFC fights, eating way too much food, going to the range or doing other super awesome “guy” stuff. As iron sharpens iron we regularly connect outside of life group individually and in group settings over lunches, dinners, movies and coffee to check in on each other for accountability and support. Child care: child care is not provided.
How we live on mission in Every Neighborhood
We plan on having every member of our group plan a serve day with an organization important to them. Our goal is to bring light to a dark world and our serve days tend to focus on recovery, brokenness and healing in a world in need of the love, grace and mercy of God through Christ.
