Elementary (K-5th)
Elementary-age kids are in a constant state of discovery. They try all sorts of different things for the first time, and learn new things every day, including how to make (and keep) friends.
We want to tap into the way kids are naturally wired to discover‚ so they can begin to experience for themselves who God is, how He sees them, and how much He loves them.
In our elementary classes we show them God’s big story and help them discover the active part they can play in this life-long adventure.
Curriculum
In Kids Connection, we use 252 Basics curriculum to provoke that discovery. We try to invite kids to live out their new understanding of how to grow in their relationship with God and with others in small, classroom Life Groups.
Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. (Luke 2:52)
252 Basics is based on Luke 2:52, and revolves around Godly attributes, or virtues. Each month focuses on a different virtue, taught through weekly Bible lessons in a Large Group setting, followed by Life Group time with application possibilities for your child’s life at home, school or their neighborhood. Kids are engaged in worship, Bible lessons and reviews, games, applications, and fun in every service.

Refrigerator Door – This equipping handout is for parents, so you can review the lesson your child learned. It includes hints for things to do to reinforce that lesson during the week.
God Time Cards – These handouts are for your kids, and include four days of quiet time activities, encouraging them to think more about what they learned in class. They are a jump-start for daily time in His Word.
