From Genesis to Revelation, we see that God’s plan for a Savior of the world has always been Jesus. That plan unfolds chapter by chapter, and becomes more and more evident, revealing His glory over time. There are over 300 prophecies specifically pointing to the work of Jesus – His birth, His ministry and the details of His life – and they all go back to a singular male pronoun “he” in Genesis 3:15. Jesus is the promised Messiah, the plan of God from before the foundations of the earth. We have been given many promises of who this Messiah would be, and Jesus fulfills them all perfectly.
