The Well Community Church

As we pulled into our hotel at Chiang Mai we got word about the earthquake in Haiti. Since coming back to the states things have only gotten worse. So what is our response as a church and what should be your response?

Obviously pray. Pray for help. Pray for food. Pray for doctors. Pray that the Lord would use this for his glory. But beyond that we are called to do something. James 2:15-16 is a perfect guide in this situation....

15 If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that?

We are called to become the answers to our prayers. So what can you do? As a church we are sending one of our members who is a fire fighter. Help us in sending his team. I have also attached an Emergency Response from World Vision. Read over it. I encourage you to respond financially. We highly value and trust World Vision and would encourage you to help those who are going thru this horrible catastrophe.
