Fig WSM Winter Camp - 2020

This winter we will study the Parable of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15. The heart of Christianity and God Himself lies within the story of a father and his two sons. This parable focuses on three characters: the father, the older brother, and the younger brother. In this parable Jesus reveals two ways of being alienated from God: moral conformity and moral abandonment. Jesus also shows us the love, grace, and kindness of God as seen through the father. Years ago Jesus challenged His audience—as well as us today—regarding our thoughts about who God is, what sin is, and what is necessary for salvation.

We are so excited to dive into this text with you all and see the ways that God challenges our hearts and minds to love Him more!
