Class Description: Long before science discovered neuroplasticity, Jesus told his disciples that it was what was inside of man that destroyed him. Paul later wrote in Romans 12 that we can be "transformed by the renewing of our mind." What does this process look like? How does recurring trauma affect the brain? Together we will explore how God created the brain and what it looks like to walk out this transformation process as His followers. We will learn practical tools for ourselves, family, community and anywhere pain and trauma exist so we can become healing communities.
