Tara has been a member of The Well Kids ministry team for 8 years in a variety of different roles. She is passionate about equipping families to foster real relationships with Jesus Christ. She has one adult daughter, twin teenage daughters, one VERY patient husband, 2 dogs, 3 cats, a newt and most of her sanity. She is nothing without her Google calendar, and a sucker for puns and ‘80s music. Jesus changed her life, and she wants everyone to know Him!
If there is one thing you need to know about Jordan, it is that he lives to have fun! He loves coffee, a good book, or a walk in nice weather. When he is not out having fun, he is at home hanging out with his beautiful wife, Danay and two kids, Patrick and June. Jordan grew up in church but didn’t fully understand the gospel until later in life. So now he has a desire and passion to see the next generation grow up in love with Jesus and a true view of the gospel.
Joel has attended The Well since he was in the 3rd grade. He has experienced Kids and Student ministries first hand and knows the impact a small group leader can have on a student’s life. Joel is now in his fourth year of college at Fresno State as a history major so he is constantly reading. When he’s not reading, he’s meeting up with friends to hang out at Starbucks or Kuppa Joy or seeing a movie. He is very intentional about his relationships and wants everyone to know the gospel. Joel became a volunteer intern for the Well Kids ministry in September of 2019 and loves every second of serving on the Kids team. Joel’s passion is to help parents see the role they play in the discipleship of their child, and to equip children to live out their faith.
Born in Los Angeles, Alfonso Moreno moved to Fresno at the age of 6 and has lived here ever since. With more than five years of experience with student ministries and more than 10 years of leadership experience in Spanish ministries, he was inspired to pursue ministry at The Well for many years before the opportunity arose. Married in 2008, he and his wife Yazmin have two boys, Amin and Benjamin. Alfonso loves Fresno, going up to the mountains, doing life with people and watching students deepen in their relationships with Christ.
