When overwhelmed, many of us turn to family or our church. But imagine not having those options. Oftentimes, problems like drug addiction, domestic abuse, incarceration or illness can be debilitating, making it impossible for parents to care for their children. It’s in high-stress environments like this that children can be overlooked and are at risk for neglect and abuse.

Safe Families for Children (SFFC) is an unprecedented movement of returning the church to the forefront of caring for children and their families in crisis. A collaboration between Bethany Christian Services, Valley Teen Ranch, City Without Orphans and local churches, SFFC comes alongside parents in need by providing resources, expertise and friendship.

Serve as a Host Family that provides a safe and loving home to children whose parents are experiencing a temporary crisis, a Family Friend who babysits, runs errands, etc., or simply provide needed Resources (i.e. diapers, formula, or a meal).
