A once-in-a-lifetime tool to equip you personally and enable you to effectively explain what you believe.
The Academy is designed for those who desire to deepen their knowledge of the Bible and theology, as well as prepare themselves personally for various ministries, in and out of the church. Over the course of three years, as a student going through the Academy, you will read all the books of the Bible and will see how each chapter fits together in the flow of each book. You will see how the whole Bible is woven together by God for our instruction and learn how to interpret the Bible with skill. You will see the major theological truths unfolded in the Bible and learn how to answer people when asked some of the harder questions about Christianity and the Bible. The goal is to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and in your understanding of Him in a profoundly personal way.
The three years will be divided into six semesters of study that will require a minimum of four to eight hours of preparation each week. Class preparation includes reading and some minor written summaries. These six semesters will be divided as follows:
When : Monday evenings from 6:15pm to 8:15pm at the North Campus. The fall semester starts September 9 and goes through December 16. We will be studying the New Testament Books.
Cost : There is no charge per se, but we are asking each student to make a $50 gift at the beginning of each semester. The gift is designed to cover the material costs of the class. To make a gift of assistance, instead of money, contact email@example.com.
Childcare : Childcare will be provided free of charge, but children must be enrolled before bringing them to class.
Life Groups : A Life Group component will be provided as part of the class experience. You will have the opportunity to join a Life Group if you come as an individual or as a couple. Existing Life Groups are encouraged to sign up together on a semester-to-semester basis.
Applications : No application is needed. Simply sign up online for each semester.
