Internship
Why internship at The Well?
We are an equipping, multi-site church, helping people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood, which is our long-standing mission statement.
Our Internship Program is intended to take what we’ve been given and pour it into you. We offer tactical training, expert coaching, and proven strategies – strategies that have helped launch multiple church campuses and successful non-profit organizations. We can tell you what works and what doesn’t, from experience. The Well has always been about a movement, always moving toward something – what we believe God is calling us to do. Our unique church structure, utilizing teaching and campus pastors, combined with ever-changing key focus areas, makes for one of the most dynamic and challenging ministry experiences anywhere.
Our foundation is built on sound, Biblical teaching and our communication strategies are as intentional and innovative as they come. We are never afraid to punch you in the face with God’s word, and we never do it quietly. We have tagged our own buildings, nailed our idols to a cross, and used rap-tastic to describe worship. We believe life change happens in community and shy away from programs. We believe in shepherding the broken and raising up volunteers to lead. We believe video teaching works and there is value in a digital presence.
Our Internship tracks are rigid enough to develop and refine specific skill for real-life ministry and flexible enough to allow for customized training as you discover your God-given talents. You can hang out with us, literally. Or you can dive deeper and pursue full-time ministry aspirations. But you’ll have to excuse our love of acronyms and cheesy water analogies. And for doing so, we’ll throw in a free t-shirt when you enroll in any of our Internship tracks.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I work or go to school during my internship?
Yes. Outside employment and schooling is allowed, but your Internship program schedule takes precedence over any outside event.
After completion of my internship, am I guaranteed employment?
No. However, our Internship program is designed to raise up well-equipped, servant-minded leaders who can naturally integrate into a church staff environment. Upon completion, you will have relevant ministry experience for a resume, have access to a professional network, and may request letters of recommendation.
