Life Groups

The Christian life was not meant to be lived alone, but large gatherings can be as isolating as being alone. There are lots of people around you, but everyone is wearing their public persona.

It’s hard to be real with 1000 other people. That’s why we view our Sunday services as great, but insufficient for real life change, and why we believe so strongly in a deeper community with a small group of friends. And so every week in every neighborhood in the city people gather in living rooms to talk, laugh, and share life. In good times that means celebration and in hard times it means concerned prayer and honest conversation.

To some it may appear like we’re just hanging out, but there is no truer church experience than what happens around our coffee tables. Don’t be fooled, you may make a decision to change your life at a service or large gathering, but the actual process of change, the work that has to be put in to make it stick must happen in a community of friends. Friends are made in Life Groups.

Life Groups are available all year long although we do have three big launches during the year, you'll hear about them during a service or on this site. We have a number of open life groups that people can join at any time during the ministry year. If you’d like to know more about life groups or are interested in becoming a leader yourself and facilitating life change by hosting a group, fill out the form to the right.

Community Toolbox

The "toolbox" is a collection of short articles and helps that are specifically geared toward the betterment of a life group. As a life group leader, they will help you focus on the growth and health of the life group experience. Hopefully, they will generate some practical ideas that you can take and implement immediately into your group.
