Local Extended Family are part of our church body who have responded in obedience to a call to serve the unreached. They live and work in a particular community building relationships, rooting themselves in the culture, and providing various forms of ministry, all the while meeting a physical, emotional or educational need over time. With a heart to change their whole life for Christ, they are an extension of the work and influence of our church.

We take the responsibility of walking with our Extended Family very seriously. We are called to support, encourage, restore, and celebrate what God is doing in and through them as they seek to share the gospel and make disciples in our city.

The Contrerases

The Contrerases

God brought together a former gang member and a small town girl from the Midwest, and now they are investing in their inner city neighborhood and inviting people into the Word of God. Manuel and Kim Contreras are on staff at World Impact.

World Impact is a Christian missions organization committed to facilitating church-planting movements by evangelizing, equipping and empowering the unchurched urban poor. World Impact's purpose is to honor and glorify God and to delight in Him in the inner cities by knowing God and making Him known.

The Fabrizios

The Fabrizios

Matt is working with Neighborhood Church in the Jackson neighborhood. He is focusing on walking with men through the processes of recovery and running regular “Revive” groups throughout the year. He'll be meeting weekly with guys, setting up bible study groups, and anything else that can bring men together to walk and grow with each other towards Jesus. Matt will also continue to preach and teach regularly during Sunday gatherings. As it grows, a new gathering for Neighborhood Church will start at the Fabrizio’s home.
