The Well Community Church

Exposure Trips

The Well launches Exposure Trips several times a year (Summer and Winter). These short-term exposure trips are meant to help members of The Well see global poverty, see God’s heart for the Nations, and support organizations/individuals we support. They are called Exposure Trips for a reason and are never an end of themselves, but to move members of The Well to action. Whether this is to long-term as Extended Family or an adjustment of lifestyles and values we believe you will never be the same.

The Olympics offer a strategic opportunity to serve 217 countries all unifying over the competition and challenge of such a grand scale event. UK churches and ministries are partnering with American mission teams for outreach and service opportunities. The Run The Race Initiative is put on by Gold Hill Baptist Church and St. James Anglican Church in London. They are taking this opportunity to offer community-wide events for the two weeks during the games. The hope is that no family will watch the games by themselves at home but rather partake in community activities. There will be various activities for all ages from babies to seniors. Cultural and outreach events will take place along with a VBS during the week. On the weekends, there will be sporting events and tournaments. On both Sundays, a large worship celebration service will be held.

The purpose of Run the Race is to reach people for Christ and connect them with the local church. We are looking for a team of 12 willing to travel to London this summer to support GEM.
