Two of the most well known miracles in the Bible are “The Feeding of the 5,000” and “Jesus Walking on Water.” Both the churched and unchurched alike are generally aware of these two particular miracles. Yet for many, our understanding doesn't go much further than the flannelgraph pictures in our mind of a sweet Jesus multiplying some lunch for a hungry crowd. The reality is, there's so much more Jesus wants us to see in these miracles. Set against the backdrop of a rioting, revolutionary crowd and the self-centeredness of His disciples, we'll look into how Christ desires to invade our paradigms and prove His sufficiency for us, as both Savior and Sustainer in the midst of our shortcomings and sufferings.
