At Christmas, we celebrated the fact that dozens of Old Testament promises and prophecies about the long-awaited Messiah had come true. A suffering servant had come to die for the sins of the world so we might receive a righteousness that could never be earned or deserved. But what about all those other prophecies about the Messiah that did not get fulfilled during His first advent on earth? Promises about Him defeating all of His enemies, eradicating injustice, suffering, sorrow and even death? Promises about Him bringing final peace to all the earth and us enjoying Him face to face forever? In this message, we'll take a look at the still unfulfilled promises revolving around the second coming of Christ and explore the implications of living in light of His glorious return.
