Clovis Campus 2/3rd Grade Coordinator - Full Time (30hrs/week)

The Kids Ministry is looking for a 2nd and 3rd Grade Coordinator who is responsible for casting vision, supporting, encouraging, developing, scheduling, recruiting/inviting new people into the ministry and overseeing all volunteers for 2nd through 3rd grade. In addition, they will assist the Midweek Kids Ministry Coordinator in executing and overseeing a successful Midweek Kids Ministry program on Thursday evenings.  The estimated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop a volunteer team by inviting and investing in others; work alongside them in ministry to fulfill the mission of the church
  • Responsible for the overall environment, biblical soundness, and high-level of excellence in small group and large group programming for 2nd and 3rd grade kids and volunteers
  • Responsible for making sure rooms have consistent small group leaders and supplies prepared for all gatherings
  • Recruit, interview, and orient new volunteers
  • Shepherd and develop new and existing volunteers / leaders
  • Schedule teams weekly
  • Take ownership and initiative in constantly casting vision of ministry with parents, staff, and new leaders
  • Contact and schedule meetings with new leaders within 24 hours of receiving the contact
  • Keep campus supplies organized; coordinate with Kids Resource Coordinator on needed supplies
  • Collaborate and communicate with Clovis Campus K-1st Coordinator, Fig Campus Elementary Coordinator, and Midweek Kids Coordinator
  • Actively engage in Kids Ministry team meetings and team focus objectives
  • Plan with the Kids team and execute a yearly Summerpalooza (Vacation Bible School) event for the Clovis Campus

  • A love for God’s children and exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church
  • An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships; a builder who is creatively driven both missionally and administratively
  • Possesses strong relational and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace towards people
  • Experience in Kids ministry a plus; including the leadership of high-level volunteers
  • Ability to navigate online platforms such as google drive, planning center, ClickUp, Slack, and other software
