Video Producer - Full Time (40hrs/week)
The Video Producer is experienced in video production (pre and post-production) so as to support the creative vision of The Well in crafting its overall branding. This person will work closely with the Lead Video Producer and Visual Arts Director to produce visual concepts with the intent to establish and develop The Well's personality, perspective, and mission using all available resources. Looking for a self initiator, creative-type, who is passionate about telling the story of life change at The Well, and is never afraid to push on our team for the best answer, while staying current with technology and video trends in the name of innovation, so as to set every ministry up to win, having maintained a good relationship and open door communication with other departments.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
• Work with the Lead Video Producer and Visual Arts Director to design and complete projects (ranging from small to large-scale production) mindful of the big picture, creative cohesiveness, and staying culturally relevant, while looking at the content from the eye of the viewer to create the best experience
• Be a team player who collaborates with others trying to understand the problem/desire, asking questions and soliciting feedback, appreciating and incorporating constructive feedback when applicable
• Be thoughtful and thorough, while making sure you know how to prioritize and work well under time constraints
• Be able to defend and support your work in a professional, respectful way; believe enough in your work to push forward, but also adapt as needed
• Be energetic and able to excite people to be on camera, while having great communication skills in order to interview and make people comfortable
• Be able to handle stories of life change with care and empathy allowing people to share their testimony in a safe place
• Capture and edit videos as applicable; produce and post podcasts as applicable
• Capture special events, department curriculum, Lead Team initiatives, etc. (including evening, weekend, and Sunday gathering events)
• Work with video team, audio mixers, graphic artists, web developers, musicians, motion graphic specialists, and copy writers/editors (freelance or in-house) as projects dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficient with Video Editing Software (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro are the most common)
• Experience with pre-production (i.e. research, storyboarding, scripting and concepting)
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or Motion is a plus
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plus
