Kids Ministry Admin (30 hrs/ week)
Position Overview
The Well is seeking a Kids Ministry Administrative Coordinator who is passionate about partnering with parents and helping children grow in their understanding of the gospel. This role supports the Kids Ministry team by providing strong administrative leadership, organization, and systems management to ensure the ministry runs smoothly and effectively. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced ministry environment. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hour.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the Family Pastor and Kids Ministry team
- Create, implement, and maintain systems that support the effectiveness of the Kids Ministry department
- Take notes at ministry meetings and distribute clear meeting minutes to appropriate staff
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and provide regular financial reports for all campuses
- Coordinate and oversee administrative logistics for annual events such as Summerpalooza VBS
- Maintain ministry databases, records, and communication systems
- Help coordinate schedules, volunteer communication, and ministry logistics
- Support planning and organization of ministry events, trainings, and gatherings
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Flexible and able to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Comfortable learning and working within multiple computer systems and digital tools
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff and volunteers
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in administrative support, project coordination, or ministry environments
- Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
