Women's Bible Study
Our Women’s Bible Study is a place for multigenerational discipleship, in which women of all ages, from different seasons of life, and in different circumstances, grow in Christlikeness – building biblical literacy and theology. It is also a place to cultivate authentic relationships with each other in gospel-centered community, while serving and growing together under local church leadership and teaching.
As you learn to study God's Word, our hope is it will change you, encourage you, and equip you as a disciple to then spur you on to go and make disciples.
1 Peter starting week of September 14th - November 9th
This semester we will be studying the book of 1 Peter. This is a book written to those scattered...those walking through trial, hardship, & suffering. A book meant to provide hope, courage, & strength for believers. We’re praying through creative ways to do this together, while being scattered and socially distanced, but we want to be together in one hope, one heart, one mind, one faith.
We are asking everyone who signs up to simply:
Read the passage for the week and journal.
Watch the teaching online.
We are going to host a weekly round table type of teaching/discussion with women from our church over the passage on Monday mornings. It will be broadcast into our Facebook live so you can interact with us and watch along. It will also be recorded so you can watch anytime, or in a small group (you don't need to be on Facebook to participate). We are changing the type of teaching to make it more of a living room style conversation over the passage, insights we had during our study time, clarity on passages, as well as how it's applying in our own lives.
We are offering an online only, large group that will read the passage, journal, and watch the teaching. You can sign up for that here: https://thewellcommunity.org/connect/womens-bible-study/groups/womens-bible-study-online
Or you can sign up for one of our small group experiences below. Spots are limited, if groups are full, sign up for the online group and we will notify you if small group spots become available.
*Optional: We also realize some of you are looking for a more in depth study, you can purchase Jen Wilkin's study through 1 Peter and we will post her teaching weekly as well for those interested in digging deeper.
