Ministry Internship is a hands-on development opportunity designed to help participants explore their calling into vocational ministry and grow in confidence, wisdom, and discernment. Through biblical teaching, cohort-based formation, and experience across ministry teams, participants gain a deeper understanding of ministry while learning how they have been equipped to faithfully serve the Church.

Throughout the internship, participants serve alongside ministry leaders, engage in the rhythms of The Well, and gain experience through the life and work of the church. Intentional mentorship, feedback, and conversation give interns space to better understand their gifts, strengths, and areas for growth while developing a clearer picture of what vocational ministry can look like.

Who Is It For?

The Ministry Internship program is for those who are exploring a calling into vocational ministry and want to grow in their faith while gaining meaningful experience in the local church. It is designed for individuals who are ready to learn, serve, and grow alongside ministry leaders while gaining greater clarity about their gifts, calling, and how God may be leading them to serve the Church.

What to Expect

The Ministry Internship combines spiritual formation with practical ministry experience, creating opportunities to grow both personally and in service to others.

As an intern, you can expect to:

  • Participate in biblical teaching and intentional discipleship.
  • Receive coaching and mentorship from ministry leaders.
  • Serve alongside a ministry team through meaningful responsibilities.
  • Grow in character, leadership, and ministry skills through regular feedback and reflection.
  • Develop greater clarity about your gifts, calling, and next steps in ministry.

Each aspect of the internship is designed to help participants become faithful followers of Jesus who serve the Church with humility, wisdom, and intentionality.

Program Details

Length: 9 months, September-May. 

Schedule: 6 to 15 hour per week.

Program Fee: The Ministry Internship has a $500 program fee. A $50 deposit is required with the application and will be applied toward the total program fee. If an applicant is not accepted, the deposit will be fully refunded.

Requirements: Ministry Internship begins with an application and interview process. Applicants must be available to participate in the full internship commitment, be active members of The Well or willing to become members, and meet the requirements outlined during the application process.
