Valley Leadership Academy (VLA) Male Student Life Coordinator & Recruiter Part-Time (25hrs/wk)
Position Overview:
The VLA Male Student Life Coordinator & Recruiter is a position dedicated to shepherding the personal, social, and academic development of male students for Valley Leadership Academy. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for male students, offering guidance, mentorship, and resources to foster a supportive campus environment. In addition to direct student support, the role includes administrative responsibilities, such as event coordination and communication support, to ensure the effective operation of VLA. This individual will also serve as a critical point of contact for students from initial inquiry through enrollment and throughout their academic journey. The estimated pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Collaborating with Education Partner’s Admissions team and The Well staff
Student Support and Engagement (in partnership with the Female Student Life Coordinator)
Organizing and leading programs and events
Shepherding and mentoring male students
Assist in the coordination of intern practicums, including scheduling, mentorship, and performance evaluation
Support broader VLA programs and initiatives as needed
Qualifications:
Exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church
An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships; a builder who is creatively driven both missional and administratively
Possesses strong relational and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace towards people
Ability to navigate online platforms such as google drive, ClickUp, Slack, and other software
Bachelor's degree preferred
