Kids Ministry 415 Coordinator (Fig Campus) - Part time (20 hrs/week)
The Fig 415 Coordinator is responsible for casting vision, supporting, encouraging, scheduling, recruiting/inviting new people into the ministry and overseeing all volunteers, 4th through 5th grade. In addition, it is essential that the Fig 415 Coordinator gets to know families on their campus. This position reports to the Fig Associate Kids Director. The estimated pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hour.
Primary Position Responsibilities
- Actively help people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood
- Adhere to The Well statement of faith
- Develop a volunteer team, by inviting and investing in others, to work alongside you in ministry to fulfill the mission of the church
- Responsible for overall environment and high level of excellence in programming for elementary kids and volunteers
- Responsible for making sure rooms have consistent small group leaders, co-leaders and supplies prepared for gatherings
- Interview and Orientation with new volunteers
- Shepherd and Develop new and existing leaders
- Schedule teams weekly
- Take ownership and initiative in constantly casting vision of ministry with parents, staff and recruiting new leaders
- Contact and schedule meetings with new leaders within 24 hours of receiving the contact
- Keep campus supplies organized, coordinate with Kids Resource Coordinator on needed supplies
- Plan & execute quarterly 415 events with Clovis 415 coordinator throughout the year
- Recruit leaders and assist with organization/logistics for Winter Camp and Summer Camp (Wagon Train). Attend both
- Teach curriculum and train Sunday teachers
- Plan with the team and execute a yearly Summerpalooza (VBS) event
Qualifications
- A love for God’s children and exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church
- An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships; a builder who is creatively driven both missionally and administratively
- Possesses strong relational and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace towards people
- Experience in Kids ministry a plus; including the leadership of high-level volunteers
- Ability to navigate online platforms such as google drive, planning center, ClickUp, Slack, and other software
