Special Needs Ministry Coordinator (Clovis Campus) - Part Time (25hrs/week)
The Special Needs Ministry Coordinator will lead efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students (6th-12th grade) with special needs at The Well. This role involves recruiting and developing volunteers, coordinating with church ministries to ensure accessibility, and providing support to families with exceptional needs. The estimated pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for an inclusive church culture for students with special needs.
- Lead and develop a team of volunteers, ensuring proper training and support.
- Collaborate with internal ministries and external partners to enhance inclusion.
- Create and maintain safe and accessible spaces for special needs ministry.
- Provide direct support and care to families, responding to inquiries within 24 hours.
- Champion accessibility in all church events and activities.
- Maintain ministry resources and ensure volunteer training in safety and security.
Qualifications
- Passion for special needs ministry and creating an inclusive church environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred.
- Ability to build relationships with families and ministry teams.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
