Well Kids Team

Jordan Niles

Jordan Niles Kid's Director

If there is one thing you need to know about Jordan, it is that he lives to have fun! He loves coffee, a good book, or a walk in nice weather. When he is not out having fun, he is at home hanging out with his beautiful wife, Danay and two kids, Patrick and June. Jordan grew up in church but didn’t fully understand the gospel until later in life. So now he has a desire and passion to see the next generation grow up in love with Jesus and a true view of the gospel.

Emily Pittenger

Emily Pittenger Fig Campus Kids Director

Emily Pittenger is a middle child to a family of six and the shortest in her family. This taught her to value family time and also how to take a joke. She spends most days eating street tacos and Ampersand ice cream, taking her laundry to her parents’ house or camping with her closest friends.

Emily got her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, and is passionate about supporting families and child development. If she could be anyone in the world, she would be Miss Frizzle from The Magic School Bus and have fun all day teaching kids through play.

Danay Niles

Danay Niles Fig Campus Elementary Director

Most kids know Danay as “the lady with the pink hair” or “the lady who ate goldfish cereal at Summerpalooza.” Needless to say, Danay loves to have a good time. You can usually find Danay hanging out with her husband (Jordan) and two kids (Patrick and June) or kicking in at the dojo practicing and teaching karate to kids and young adults!

Danay did not grow up going to church, so she is passionate about teaching kids what the Bible really says and making sure kids know they are loved!

Trevor Saephan

Trevor Saephan Fig Campus 415 Director

Trevor is a first-generation Mienh-American born from refugee parents. He did not grow up knowing who Jesus was but would later come to Christ during his middle school years. As the oldest sibling, Trevor learned to care for others around him which propelled him to want to help others experience fullness of life through Jesus. Trevor learned the difference between relying on oneself compared to full reliance on God in everything. He enjoys engaging with people to hear their stories and spending quality time with his amazing wife Maddie.

Trevor is passionate about connecting Gospel truth to the heart. He is passionate about people knowing what it means to have their identity in Christ. He wants the next generation to know the same and for them to experience life long discipleship.

Marisa Garza

Marisa Garza Fig Campus Preschool Director

Marisa is married to her husband Toby, and they currently reside in the heart of the tower district with their two kids, Mateo and Hazel. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has a passion for little kids and ministry, and she loves that she gets to do both simultaneously. When Marisa isn’t working, she enjoys reading a good book, spending time with her family, and watching a good show.

Marisa grew up in the church but didn’t fully feel like she had a relationship with Jesus until she was in her mid-20s. It was then that she realized how badly she needed Jesus, which gave her an even bigger desire to teach kids the love of Jesus in a tangible way at such a young age. This became even more important when she became a mom. She loves what she does and cannot wait to meet you and your kiddos in the preschool world!

Noal Aasness

Noal Aasness Kids Resource Director

Noal grew up in Southern California and moved to Fresno after marrying her hot hunk of a firefighter in 1999. She graduated from Long Beach State, and although she got her degree in creative writing, she doesn't broadcast that fact, lest someone feel the urge to ask her to actually write something. She and her husband Todd (aka Hot Toddy) have a son (Tim), a daughter (Sarah), and a polydactyl cat (Suzanne Thumbers).

Noal enjoys reading, word games, working out (well, maybe not the working out part as much as the results of working out), trying new restaurants, and a good cup of coffee. She'll take Fresno winters over Fresno summers, dark chocolate over milk chocolate, and Cheez-its over Goldfish any day of the week. She considers her job on the Kids' Team a huge privilege as she makes sure the kids have the supplies and lessons available, so they are equipped to learn about Jesus' overwhelming love for them.

Ruby Koetsier

Ruby Koetsier Training Ground Director

Holly Branch

Holly Branch Kids Ministries Administrator

Holly married a cowboy years ago, lives on a ranch, and has two grown sons. She is Gigi to the two cutest grandbabies in the world! She enjoys wide open spaces, the smell of rain and alfalfa, drinking hot tea by a glowing fire, and watching God paint a sunset each night. She is the organizer and spreadsheet maker working behind the scenes. She has a deep love of the Word and can often be found deep in study or leading a small group in Women's Bible Study.
