Walking through our Monarchy series, we are reminded of God’s covenant with David and His promise of a King whose kingdom would endure. As this promise is fulfilled in Jesus, we see the sovereign and faithful God who keeps His promises and reigns over every season of our lives. Even in times of consolation or desolation, we are reminded that Jesus is near, even when His presence feels distant.
