Staff Transitions

Surprise, surprise! We are changing things up, and you are going to see some new (and familiar) faces around your campus in the next few weeks.

Pete Hingano

You may have heard Brad Bell say we hold our staff with an open hand. They ultimately serve God and not The Well, so when they feel called to grow in ministry or relocate, we trust God’s plan. Our very own Pete Hingano has felt a calling to become a senior pastor, and he will start pastoring a church in Sanger in the next few weeks. This transition is incredibly bittersweet, but we are grateful to have had the privilege of watching Pete grow and develop over the years, and now step out in faith to carry his own church.

Chris Schultz

So what is happening with Southeast? Enter Chris Schultz as the interim Southeast Campus Pastor. Since Chris has been wearing multiple hats for quite some time as the North AM and Midweek Campus Pastor, as well as the Spiritual Formation Director, he’s gotten pretty used to it. He will remain the Spiritual Formation Director and Midweek Campus Pastor while he helps us find and develop the next Southeast Campus Pastor.

PJ Lewis

For those who have been at The Well for some time, you might remember North AM is where PJ Lewis began. When there was a need in our Kids Co ministry, PJ answered the call and stepped in. He is now returning to our North AM services as Campus Pastor, a position where he has thrived before. Keep an eye out for him and come shake his hand. And make sure you meet his amazing wife Sheri too. You won’t regret it.

Jeremy Tullis

Meet our new Kids Co Director. Jeremy is a local pastor who has been working in and developing Family Ministry for 15 years. After several conversations, it seemed clear to us – and to Jeremy – that this position would be a great fit. Starting at the end of December you may see him at your campus, so take the time to get to know Jeremy and his beautiful family.

Josh Hawley

Hey Fig Garden Campus, we haven’t forgot about you! Meet Josh Hawley, your new Campus Pastor. With Shea Sumlin moving into the role of Development Director, we knew we had to find someone amazing to shepherd our Figgies. With 15+ years experience shepherding congregations, Josh is definitely our man. Make sure to meet Josh, his wife and children at the end of January, and welcome them into the Fig Garden family.

Mark Snee

Mark Snee comes to us straight from SoCal with his wife and three kids. He is taking over the North PM Campus Pastor role as Jerrod Rumley transitions out to be a senior pastor. Mark is passionate about the collegiate crowd and wants to help encourage others to pursue and enjoy God wholeheartedly. Take Mark out for a cup of coffee after the service and get to know him. Your time and money will be well spent.

This is a lot of information and feels like a lot of change. And it is! But we believe in a big God, and we know He has been at work in all of these positions long before we were aware of them. We appreciate your prayers as these amazing men step into their new roles. Thank you for trusting God with us.
