Mother Teresa famously quoted, "It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving." Larry Stucky and his Life Group demonstrated this act of selfless serving at the Golden Living Center.
With big hearts, they engaged the elderly residents in simple activities, sharing Christ's love by playing bingo and tossing balloons. Meaningful conversations, games, magazines and time in prayer were just what these residents needed, reminding Larry and his group that giving doesn't always come from our wallets.
"It was very meaningful at the end that we were able to pray with the majority of the people who had attended our event. Several people heard about the Lord in the course of our time with them. Intercession was offered for them. And then one of the residents spontaneously broke out into singing 'Amazing Grace,' and all joined in. We had a very good experience and would gladly reengage with the same group in the future." - Larry Stucky
