"And I will show you a still more excellent way." What is there to be sought above prophecy, apostleship, teaching, tongues, healing, and the other spiritual gifts? Shouldn't we be seeking these spiritual gifts? In this section of scripture, Paul makes the argument that even if you possessed all of these things, but did not have love, it would be of no profit. What we should be seeking is to reflect the love of God upon those in our sphere of influence. Though the gifts will all cease one day, love never fails.
