The thread of lamb can be traced throughout the Old and New Testaments. The Israelites were well versed in the Old Testament Scriptures, but many of them failed to recognize that Jesus was the Lamb who was prophesied about: a suffering servant, who was worthy to be sacrificed in order to be our personal Savior.
