Summer Equipping Classes

This class aims to take the fear and mystery out of understanding your Bible by equipping the believer with the skills to interpret the Scriptures with confidence and joy. The class is taught in a fun, practical and interactive way to help followers of Jesus become good at connecting with the Word of God and the God of the Word.

We are all in a process of spiritual formation, either growing to look more like Jesus or like something else. Join us for a four-week journey where we explore and practice the routines and rhythms of life with God. This class will be an experiential four weeks of teaching, practice, and community, guided and empowered by the Spirit as He guides you toward an individual plan for the next season of your life of forming in the way of Jesus.

In Habits of the Household, you will discover simple practices you can implement around your daily routines and seemingly mundane moments that will lead to a lifetime of growing closer to God - both for you and everyone in your home.

A course designed to equip you and fortify your faith, plus learn how to engage friends, family, and strangers in natural conversations about their faith. We will address objections, questions, and criticisms that may arise in this age of deconstruction, skepticism, and spiritual rebellion. We will also learn tactics to help us get into and navigate gospel conversations.

This is what "Call-Ability" is all about.

Soul Care: What hurting people wish you knew. 

Let’s face it, caring for people in pain can be daunting. I’ve often thought, “What if I say the wrong thing? What if I make things worse?“ As a hospital chaplain, I’ve gotten to walk with people through hard times and I’ve learned some valuable lessons along the way. If you want to get better at being present with people in pain, this class is for you.
