Position Overview

The Production Coordinator will effectively use their craft to ensure the best possible Audio, Video and Lighting experience for The Well Community Church's gatherings and events. With "TEAM" being one of our core values, the atmosphere of the Production department must be a collaborative one, with Production not just being a facilitator, but a partner in supporting our staff as a whole. The PC also recruits, trains and schedules campus volunteers, working to grow/develop campus volunteers in craft and character. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.00- $23.00/hr. 


Primary Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary source of skilled technical understanding within AVL, supporting all Well Ministries and our staff as a whole
  • Communicate with The Well staff about production support needs (setups for rehearsals and/or gatherings)
  • Responsible for contributing to a distraction-free gathering
  • Maintain a high level of excellence while demonstrating professionalism in all areas
  • Coordinate the necessary details and equipment for AVL teams to serve successfully on a weekly basis
  • Provide AVL support and training for all Well gatherings and events
  • Ability to think quickly and react/troubleshoot properly under challenging circumstances
  • Proactively evaluate AVL systems at assigned campus and ensure systems are being used creatively, effectively and efficiently
  • Manage, maintain, repair and generally oversee assigned AVL equipment
  • Develop and invest in volunteer Production team members through skills training
  • Meet regularly with AVL volunteers to shepherd, equip, and encourage the values that drive The Well’s vision and mission
  • Maintain active communication with the Production Director
  • Able to work in a team setting and take directives from the Production Director
  • Make sure all areas of Production are kept clean and organized (stage, booths, studios, etc.)
  • With “High Change” culture at The Well, the Production Coordinator must be open and willing to adjust hours to meet the given needs as per request/approval of the Production Director
  • Fulfill any and all other duties assigned by the Production Director to successfully conduct church business

  • Exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church
  • An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships
  • Possesses strong relational and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace toward people
  • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
  • Experience in AVL preferred
