For a summer, semester, or up to 2 years in-country, our Global Interns are exposed to discipleship environments overseas in hopes of confirming God’s calling for ministry and/or long-term missions.
Michaela will be serving in the Women’s Social Work ministry in Costa Rica with Students International. It is a ministry that desires to meet the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs in one of the poorest areas in Costa Rica. The ministry site she will be a part of focuses on strengthening the relationships between the women of Costa Rica while continuously pointing to God in the process. Specifically, this ministry introduces skills to women in order for them to bring income into their homes to help support their families. She is excited to share the gospel in a way that allows her to live out what she preaches.
