Resolutions apart from God are futile. God's intent from the beginning was for humankind to be with God. Thanks to the gospel, we are not left without hope; the Spirit of God is not only with us but in us. So as we enter the new year, how do we walk by the Spirit and not in the flesh? What things might we need to say no to in order to have a deeper and more abiding relationship with Christ? As we start the new year, we examine the Rules of Life and ask whether Jesus had a Rule of Life too.
