The Bible is silent for over 400 years after the Old Testament ends until the New Testament starts. Historically, we know what happened during that time, and we also know how some of the events fulfilled the prophesies from Daniel’s interpretation of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Daniel 2:36-45). This is the story of Israel during the many years of silence before Jesus Christ was born.
