For centuries God's people waited for a Messiah. They had all the promises and prophecies in front of them, yet somehow when He came, they missed Him. Obsessed with the promises that dealt with a physical king who would deliver them from a physical bondage, they missed the promises of a suffering servant whose first advent was to come deliver them from a spiritual bondage. In this message, we'll explore one of the clearest passages in the Old Testament that describes who this Messiah would be and why He would need to come, and in doing so, we will discover the true meaning of Christmas.
