Jesus teaches in Mark 4 that there are four types of soil, and every person falls into one of these types. But as we look more closely, we see the first three are really not as different as we might think. We find that trusting Jesus and His Word part of the time, and partly trusting Jesus all of the time aren't any better than rejecting Jesus altogether. Our lives are meant to be fully His because anything short of that is really nothing at all.
