Practicum Experience

At Valley Leadership Academy, receive in-depth ministry training and experience through immersive internships (Practicums) at a local church that values the Gospel and the authoritative place that Scripture, God’s Word, has in our life. Students will learn and serve alongside seasoned leaders who model what it looks like to value intimacy over industry, encounter over entertainment, presence over presentation, people over position and Jesus above everything.

Students can fulfill their practicum at their home church if it is local and approved by Valley Leadership Academy's Intern Director. If you don’t have a local home church, you will complete your practicum at one of our church partners.

Currently Approved Local Church PARTNERS:

  • The Well Community Church
  • Clovis Hills Church / The Hills Church
  • Woodward Park Baptist Church
  • City Church
  • Bethany Church Fresno

If you don’t see your local church listed and you would want to fulfill your practicum there, please email kaeo@valleyleadershipacademy.com
