WHAT WE WILL BE DOING

This summer, our students will be working with LeaderTreks in Chicago, IL. They will learn how the church is responding to end the cycle of poverty in very real ways. The team will serve in various local ministries, and students will explore the city during our Adventure Race in the city.

HOW YOU CAN PRAY

Our first and most critical need is prayer. Pray we will be effective as we rely solely on God and embark on this wonderful journey of advancing the gospel. Pray also for the organization we are partnering with. Lastly, pray that we will see ourselves and others through Jesus’ eyes.

CELEBRATE WITH OUR TEAM

Celebrate our journey along with those from other Exposure Trip Teams at Stories of Mission on July 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. at The Well Clovis Campus, and hear how God answered your prayers.

Leadertreks

Leadertreks Youth Ministry develops leaders to fulfill the Great Commission. We support youth workers and provide intentional curriculum and experiences that grow students as disciples and develop them as leaders. Simply put, we want to help youth workers do what they do best. So we make an easy-to-use, in-depth curriculum and create challenging mission and adventure trips that make the life of the youth worker simple.

  • Pray for the teams that learn and engage in the 14 locations we work in.
  • Pray that the partnerships with local churches, organizations, and people will be strengthened as we serve and share Jesus in various communities.
  • Pray that the youth will have an intimate connection to Jesus and that their lives will be changed forever.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING

We will join Extended Family member Jessica Rybaczyk in serving with Students International. There are many opportunities, from sports/exercise programs to teaching/tutoring youth. This project will be designed around the team recruited for this Exposure Trip, using the passions and skills God has given to bless Costa Ricans and share love and truth.

HOW YOU CAN PRAY

Our first and most critical need is prayer. Pray we will be effective as we rely solely on God and embark on this wonderful journey of advancing the gospel. Pray also for the organization we are partnering with. Pray that we can interact with people in a meaningful way to hear their story and share the story of Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit will challenge our lives.

CELEBRATE WITH US

Celebrate our journey along with those from other Exposure Trip Teams at Stories of Mission on July 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. at The Well Clovis Campus, and hear how God answered your prayers.

Students International

We are laser-focused on meeting people's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in hard-to-reach communities in Latin America. Our full-time staff leads ministry sites to serve those in need year-round. Students serve alongside SI missionaries and make a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. Short-term mission, long-term Impact.

  • Pray for an additional teacher at the tutoring center as kids have fallen behind, and tutors teach curriculum.
  • Pray that God taps the hearts of generous donors who share our vision of seeing students, as well as the poor, transformed into the likeness of Christ. We have taken a huge hit financially because teams are unable to visit.
  • Pray for restoration and reconciliation in the communities of Los Guido, San Miguel, and Las Fuentes. Costa Rica’s economy has been hit hard by local restrictions, and unemployment is at an all-time high. Economic recovery is going to take a long time.

Global Partnerships

Thailand

CRU

CRU’s purpose is helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the power of the Holy Spirit by winning people to faith in Jesus Christ, building them in their faith, and sending them to win and build others. They help the body of Christ to do evangelism and discipleship in a variety of creative ways. They are committed to the Cross's centrality, the truth of the Word, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the global scope of the Great Commission.

PRAYER
  • Pray for new ideas and ways of sharing Jesus with students during COVID
  • Pray for our staff as we wait for university campuses to open up so we can share Jesus and find new leaders.
  • Pray that the staff team will know God more and have a good relationship with Him.
  • Pray we see 10,000 students discipled by 2025.

UKRAINE

HOPE FOR ORPHANS

Kids growing up in orphanages face many challenges – deep wounds, loneliness, fear, and hopelessness. We want to enter into their lives and share warmth, encouragement, and love with them, and for this reason, we organize trips to boarding schools and orphanages. We help children in boarding schools, going to them for weekly classes in English and life skills. This is also a special time to get to know children better and encourage them in their dreams and goals at graduation.

PRAYER
  • Pray for the healing of those injured when our founder and director's house burnt down on March 24 and the finances to start over.
  • Pray for safety so that ministry can continue as COVID has been rough for the country and the many orphans we interact with daily.
  • Pray that we can continue to influence the area and that Jesus can be shared as Eastern Ukraine is still considered an active war zone.

HAITI

HAITI GO

Our mission is to help develop a thriving Christian community in Haiti's northern hills through student sponsorships, orphan care, church partnerships, and community care to create long-term sustainability.

PRAYER
  • Pray for wisdom juggling our American agenda while trying to walk alongside our brothers and sisters in Haiti.
  • Pray for the arrival of an American couple and their smooth transition onto staff in Pignon, Haiti.
  • Pray for political and economic stability in the country.

CAMBODIA

AGAPE INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

AIM is working to relentlessly rescue, heal and empower survivors of trafficking to be free – and this work doesn’t stop at the rescue. For these girls to truly heal and grow, they need to feel the unconditional, relentless love of Christ. When this love is shown, survivors understand their true worth and value, and then they can become abolitionists themselves, raising their voices and fighting for the freedom of other girls.

PRAYER
  • Pray for survivors looking for jobs.
  • Pray for the country's health as there is a major outbreak of COVID with most of the country (and some AIM programs) shut down and a minimal medical infrastructure to help people.
  • Pray for the continued favor of AIM started in Belize, January 2021
