check out this update from the Jones', part of our extended family.

Greetings everyone! Many of you know that it has been a long journey for us to get here - about 12 years in fact - but we are finally here. Throughout the last month of living here in the capital city, we have often looked at each other and said, "Can you believe we live here?!" It is an exciting time for us and we are so happy to be here. It has been so evident that we are exactly where He wants us to be. There isn't much else in life that feels better than knowing you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

We have been studying the language for the last month while here. We have really enjoyed the process and have already been advancing in understanding and some communication. As you can see in the picture below we have learned quite a bit of objects as well as nouns and adjectives. In all we have learned over 400 words already and are starting to use them as best we can. We have also learned the ability to be even more flexible than ever before. We do not usually do language learning in the dark, but when power is inconsistent you have to keep moving forward no matter what. Just pull out your flashlight and learn on.

continue to keep the jones' in your prayers and follow their journey on their blog THE GREAT JONES JOURNEY.
