Hello all! I hope all of you reading our blog are in good health and spirits. Today was the second full day of camp and we can definitely feel it. I, myself, felt exhausted after a restless sleep, humid heat, and the language barrier. Other members felt sick and that they needed to rest. As a result, my fellow teammates and I refocused our attention by talking with each other and resting and I'm happy to say that all are feeling better. I am happy to report that our lessons are going well and our nightly program was a success. We were forced outdoors after a rainstorm knocked out our power, but that allowed for our team members to be creative and moved outdoors. The kids were so thankful for our service that they provided each girl team member with a bouquet of flowers, which was extremely touching for all of us.

We do have some prayer requests for those interested. We'll need endurance, patience, and good health as we continue for the remainder of the trip.

Thank you for all your prayers,

Alexandra
