- What activities are scheduled?
We will have some optional scheduled activities (TBD), but the purpose of Camp Waittogo is to have fun, unplug from technology, and connect relationally with each other in God's creation. Make some new friends and go for a hike, take a walk around the lake, throw the ball around, play board games or roast some marshmallows over a campfire. You will also have a chance to meet our staff and engage in family-friendly chapels to grow in your faith. Bring some extra $ with you for optional activities such as the High Ropes Course.
- Will there be activities for my kids?
There will be activities for people of all ages, but kids must be attended to at all times. Childcare is not available.
- Will I be reimbursed if I have to cancel my reservation?
No. All fees are non-refundable.
- What is the cut-off date for children 5 and under to go free?
Children 5 or under as of September 8, 2017 are free.
- Will my child who is attending for free still get a t-shirt?
Sorry, t-shirts are for paid attendees only. But be encouraged, free is still free!
- Can I pay for a t-shirt for my child?
We are not currently taking orders for additional t-shirts.
- Will there be a speaker or breakout sessions?
Well pastors will speak and all chapels will be kid friendly. There will also be a campus-specific time to get to know those you worship with regularly.
- What are the housing accommodations?
There are a variety of housing accommodations, including a few hotel-like rooms, cabins that can house one or multiple families, and large cabins that can house up to 16 people. If you are coming as a family or married couple, you will have your own room/cabin, but we cannot guarantee the type of room. If you are single, we ask that you request at least one roommate, as we will be putting people together in rooms due to limited housing.
- If I stay in my own cabin at Hume, can I attend and pay a different rate?
Yes. To receive the discount adult rate of $160 per person, email email@example.com for instructions.
- Is transportation provided to and from Hume?
No. Transportation is on your own. Carpooling is encouraged.
