Kids Ministry Clovis Midweek Preschool & Fig Nursery Coordinator- Part-Time (20hrs/week)

Position Overview:

The Clovis Midweek Preschool / Fig Nursery Coordinator is responsible for implementing vision, supporting, encouraging, scheduling, and recruiting new people into the ministry, and overseeing all volunteers for nursery - 5 years at the Clovis Campus for the Thursday night Midweek gathering. They will also be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, evaluating, coordinating, supporting, and unifying a team for the Nursery - 1 year-old needs for Sunday morning gatherings at Fig. In addition, it is essential the Coordinator is building relationships with families at their gatherings. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.


Primary Position Responsibilities:

● Actively help people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood

● Adhere to The Well statement of faith

● Develop a volunteer team, by inviting and investing in others, to work alongside you in ministry to fulfill the mission of the church interviewing, orientation, and training with new volunteers

● Shepherd and develop new and existing leaders

● Responsible for the overall environment and high-level of excellence in programming for the ministry and volunteers

● Responsible for making sure rooms have consistent leaders, proper class size to worker ratios, and supplies prepared for all gatherings

● Schedule teams on Planning Center

● Make decisions regarding preschool operations for Midweek & Nursery operations for Fig

● Continually check that rooms and environments are kept to age-appropriate standards

● Develop teachers and worship leaders for preschool large group for Midweek

● Train up volunteers to help fulfill as many above expectations as possible

● Collaborate and communicate with the Fig Campus 3’s through 5’s coordinator and Clovis Nursery & Preschool Coordinators

● Contact and schedule meetings with new leaders within 24 hours of receiving the contact

● Keep volunteer groups up to date in Rock database

● Keep classroom & nursery supplies organized, coordinate with Kids Ministry Resource Coordinator on needed supplies

● Take ownership and initiative in constantly casting vision of ministry with parents, staff, and new leaders

● Responsible to plan and coordinate Child Dedications, as required

● Actively engage in Kids Ministry team meetings and team focus objectives

● Plan with the team and execute a yearly Summerpalooza (VBS)


Qualifications:

● A love for God’s children and exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ

● Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church

● An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships; a builder who is creatively driven both missionally and administratively

● Possesses strong relational and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace towards people

● Experience in Kids ministry a plus; including the leadership of high-level volunteers

● Ability to navigate online platforms such as google drive, planning center, ClickUp, and other software
