Kids Ministry Clovis Campus Preschool Coordinator- Full Time (30 hrs/week)

Position Overview:

The 3-5s Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, evaluating, coordinating, supporting, and unifying a team for the 3 year-old through 5 year-old needs for Sunday gatherings. In addition, it is essential the 3-5s Coordinator is building relationships with families at their campus. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop a volunteer team by inviting and investing in others; work alongside them in ministry to fulfill the mission of the church
  • Responsible for the overall environment and high-level of excellence in programming for the preschool ministry and volunteers
  • Responsible for making sure rooms have consistent leaders, proper class size to worker ratios, and supplies prepared for all gatherings
  • Recruit, interview, and orient new volunteers
  • Shepherd and develop new and existing volunteers / leaders, inviting them to lead at high levels
  • Schedule teams weekly
  • Take ownership and initiative in constantly casting vision of ministry with parents, staff, and new leaders
  • Contact and schedule meetings with new leaders within 24 hours of receiving the contact
  • Keep campus supplies organized; coordinate with Kids Resource Coordinator on needed supplies
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Clovis Campus Nursery through 2’s coordinator and Fig Campus Preschool Coordinator
  • Responsible to plan and coordinate Child Dedications, as required
  • Actively engage in Kids Ministry team meetings and team focus objectives
  • Plan with the Kids team and execute a yearly Summerpalooza (Vacation Bible School) event for the Clovis Campus

  • A love for God’s children and exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church
  • An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships; a builder who is creatively driven both missionally and administratively
  • Possesses strong relational, communicative, and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace towards people
  • Experience in Kids ministry a plus; including the leadership of high-level volunteers
  • Ability to navigate online platforms such as google drive, planning center, and project management software
