Missions Administrator - Full-Time (30 hrs/week)


Position Overview:

The Missions Administrator provides administrative support to the Missions Department for both global and local partnership objectives. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hour.


Primary Position Responsibilities:

  • Actively help people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood
  • Adhere to and live out The Well’s Statement of Faith 
  • Support Missions’ staff with administrative requirements, including scheduling, calendars, event planning, training sessions, planning, social media, and other administrative support where necessary
  • Help manage annual budget spending with integrity and efficiency, including processing receipts, ordering supplies, maintaining/updating files, and processing emails and other forms of communication
  • Maintain the department’s tracking systems, database entry, and upkeep
  • Help with seasonal events, including Serve (Oct), Mission Focus Weeks (April), and Life Group Serve opportunities
  • Help develop volunteers by assisting with onboarding, orientation, and training/equipping 
  • Maintain department/guest records and Rock database for events, staff, data entry and reports; ensure updated and real-time information
  • Assist in clearing all Rock connection queues within 24 hours of receipt
  • Monitor the website to ensure information is accurate, updated, and relevant
  • Schedule calls, forward needed messages, and schedule appointments as required
  • Work together as a larger Well administrative team to provide input for all church administrative decisions
  • Sort, open, and draft preliminary mail and emails
  • Receive, track, record, deposit, and reimburse monies for missions teams
  • Assist with travel arrangements when required
  • Available to work evenings and over weekends; extended hours may be required based on event(s)

  • A love for God’s people; exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
  • Possess both character and chemistry that fits The Well Community Church’s culture
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well 
  • Organized with high capacity for tasks and details; skilled in the administration arena -- driven both missionally and relationally
  • Possesses the skills to thrive in a details-oriented environment
  • Strong administrative skills – tech-savvy, flexible, self-motivated, assertive and well organized
