Interim Student Ministries Program Coordinator - Part-Time (20hrs/week)
Position Overview:
The Student Ministries Program Coordinator's primary role is the planning and execution of weekly and special event programming (games, activities, support staff, etc) for the Fig Campus. The secondary role is to be a source of care and support for WSM female leaders and students. The estimated pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hour.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Actively help people connect to God and to each other in every neighborhood
- Adhere to and live out The Well’s Statement of Faith
- Plan and execute High School programming in collaboration with the Fig Student pastor
- Help facilitate the Middle School gathering on Sunday Mornings
- Assist in managing Fig WSM budget while planning games and events
- Coordinate with the Administrator on purchases for WSM program and events
- Coordinate with Food Prep Volunteers on purchases for program meals
- Work with the rest of the WSM Staff to plan and execute the annual event program pieces for Winter Retreat
- Maintain inventory and organization of all WSM supplies
- Communicate with WSM coaches and leaders weekly in Slack
- Help to plan and execute retreats and special events
- Assist with the interview/onboarding process of female leaders
- Spend time developing relationships with female coaches, leaders, and students
- Work in collaboration with the Fig Student Pastor on all shared ministry efforts
- Work in team with the Fig Student Pastor to develop the student leadership team
- Extended and/or overnight stays/travel may be required
- Overtime hours may be necessary
- Prolonged periods of standing, bending, sitting, and kneeling may be necessary
- Working outside in varying and sometimes extreme temperatures will be necessary
- Lifting/transporting 40+ lbs may be required
Qualifications:
- Has a love for God’s children and exhibits personal faith in Jesus Christ
- Passionate and enthusiastic about the values and mission of The Well Community Church
- An organized leader with high capacity for tasks and relationships; a builder who is creatively driven both missionally and administratively
- Possesses strong relational, communicative, and team-building skills while maintaining an attitude of love and grace toward people
- Experience in student ministry
- Ability to navigate online platforms, such as Google Drive, Planning Center, and project management software
