What to Expect
At WSM, our hope is that students will feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Our goal is to help students understand their identity, purpose, and belonging through understanding the gospel. At every WSM gathering, you can expect to have fun, worship through song, hear biblical teaching, and grow your community through Life Groups.
Fun
We will always start the night with a game or activity, oftentimes encouraging students to have fun and not take themselves too seriously. Students also have the opportunity to connect with friends in the courtyard before and after each gathering.
Worship
We carefully select thoughtful songs in order to best point students’ affections to Christ through worship.
Teaching
We teach from God’s Word with a desire that students will come to know him on a deeper level. Students are encouraged to bring their Bibles and take notes during each message.
Life Groups
What we do best is Life Groups. Students want to be known and loved in a specific context. We have created that space by grouping students of the same grade and gender into small groups, where they can spend time to process together after the message. Our Life Group Leaders are volunteers that have been vetted and are present every week in an effort to give students consistent discipleship.
