This section of Scripture gives a strong Christology message, providing us with a better understanding of the uniqueness of Christ, which then gives us a better understanding of the uniqueness and beauty of God. What an incredible God to position Christ in such a way as to be our Redeemer, who would love and care for us enough to be a sacrifice for us. He was preeminent, preexistent and an agent of creation. He is before all things, above all things, sovereign over all things, and the redeemer and reconciler of all things. Many of us know these attributes about Christ. But do we really believe them?
